Senior Brand Designer (Project-based, AU Support)
Job Description:
Role Brief
The Senior Brand Designer will be engaged on a short-term, project-based basis to support a semi-rebrand of the business. This role focuses on evolving and rolling out an updated brand system, including adapting the existing logo to incorporate a new tagline, refreshing brand guidelines, and creating practical templates for internal use.
The role is execution-heavy but requires strong design judgment, particularly in maintaining brand consistency while elevating the overall look and feel. The designer will work closely with internal stakeholders, primarily the marketing team, and deliver outputs through an iterative, feedback-driven process.
Key Role Deliverables
1. Logo Adaptation & Brand Rollout (Critical – Early Phase)
- Adapt the existing logo to incorporate the new brand tagline while maintaining core brand identity.
- Develop logo variations aligned with the updated brand direction.
- Ensure consistency across all logo applications and formats.
2. Brand Guidelines Update & Refresh
- Review existing brand guidelines and identify areas for improvement.
- Update and refine guidelines to reflect the new tagline and brand direction.
- Enhance visual consistency while maintaining current brand colors and identity.
- Modernize the look and feel of the guidelines to ensure relevance and usability.
3. Template Creation & Asset Development
- Develop branded templates aligned with the updated guidelines, including:
- Marketing and presentation templates
- Canva-based assets for internal use
- Microsoft Office templates (e.g. Word, PowerPoint)
- Ensure templates are practical, editable, and scalable for business use.
4. Iterative Design & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to receive briefs and ongoing feedback.
- Produce draft designs and refine outputs through multiple feedback cycles.
- Ensure all deliverables meet expectations in terms of quality, consistency, and usability.
Education Requirement
Relevant education experience preferred
Minimum Years of Experience in similar role
- 5-8+ years in brand design or similar role
- Experience working on brand identity, brand guidelines, and design systems
Technical System Experience
Strong experience with:
- Canva (primary platform for final outputs)
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience creating templates for:
- Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)

- Guideline documentation
- Practical, usable design outputs
