Senior US Accountant (Full-Time)

Work Setup: 100% Remote (PH-based)
Schedule: Night Shift / US Hours

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior US Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for multiple U.S.-based clients in a remote, fast-paced environment. This role is hands-on and client-facing, focused on delivering accurate financials, supporting month-end close, and providing accounting insights.

You will work closely with internal teams and U.S. stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and support junior team members as the accounting function continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle accounting for 5–15 client accounts

  • Review and oversee day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, and payroll

  • Perform and review bank and credit card reconciliations

  • Prepare adjusting journal entries and lead month-end close

  • Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts

  • Maintain loan amortization, fixed asset, and prepaid schedules

  • Record equity transactions and ensure accurate financial records

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements

  • Perform variance analysis and support management reporting

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements

  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate clearly with clients

  • Support and guide bookkeepers or junior staff as needed


Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of progressive US accounting experience

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and accrual-based accounting

  • Experience with full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close

  • Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero

  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills

  • Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines

  • Willing to work night shift / US hours

  • Spanish speaker (advantage)
  • Have handled multiple clients
  • Willing to handled and manage staff in the future
