  • Prepare BAS, reconcile GST transactions and support PAYG requirements
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Prepare draft annual financial statements and maintain audit-ready workpapers
  • Support financial and board reporting, including schedules, variance commentary and cash position summaries
  • Review and oversee the work of bookkeepers and junior accountants
  • Support external client bookkeeping, BAS and EOFY workpaper preparation
  • Oversee client payroll processes, including STP, Super and award interpretation
  • Support governance reporting and ASIC/company secretarial compliance as the client services function grows

  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, including experience at a senior or team-lead level
  • Strong hands-on Xero experience across multiple entities or clients
  • Working knowledge of Australian BAS and GST
  • Experience preparing financial statements and management accounts
  • Experience reviewing or supervising junior bookkeepers/accountants
  • Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
  • High attention to detail and confidence managing multiple entities and competing priorities

  • CPA, CA, ACCA or another recognised accounting qualification
  • Experience supporting an Australian business through an offshore/BPO environment
  • Exposure to Australian payroll and award interpretation
  • Exposure to ASIC/company secretarial or board/governance reporting
