Position Scope

Role Brief Tax Accountant with 2–4 years of experience in Australian public practice. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing tax compliance work, and supporting senior team members with advisory engagements.

Key Role Deliverables

  • Prepare and lodge individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
  • Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and IAS
  • Assist with financial statements and working papers
  • Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
  • Ensure compliance with the Australian Taxation Office requirements
  • Support senior accountants with tax planning and advisory work
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records


    Education Requirement
  • Relevant background in Finance and Accounting


Minimum Years of Experience in similar role

  • 2-4 years of experience in the similar role and environment


    Technical System Experience
  • Xero Accounting


    Behavioural Competencies
  • Must Have Skills / Experience Strong knowledge of Australian tax legislation and compliance
  • Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • High attention to detail and time management
